Projects.
Everything the organisation maintains: the 1.21.1 flagship and the mods that build it, the NTM:CE line, and the 1.12.2 and 1.20.1 work that came before.
We split our work three ways. Active is the 1.21.1 flagship and the mods that build it, plus the NTM:CE line and the 26.2 groundwork. Legacy is anything that stops at 1.12.2 or 1.20.1. Still public, still playable, no longer developed. Deprecated means retired on purpose; don’t put it in a new pack.
Two things worth knowing. Several 1.21.1 ports live on their own branch or aren’t pushed yet, so a repository’s default branch won’t always tell you which tier it’s in. And HBM’s NTM: Community Edition runs on 1.12.2 while being emphatically not legacy. It’s the most active thing we ship.
Active
13Current focus. The 1.21.1 flagship event, the mods that build it, and the NTM:CE line.
HBM's NTM: Community Edition
The most complete and up-to-date port of HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod from 1.7.10 to 1.12.2. The one 1.12.2 project still under active development, and by a wide margin the org's most-used release.
WarForge Factions: Remaintained
PVP faction and land-claim mod featuring citadels, passive resource yields and siege-based territory capture. Originally fork of Flan's warforge mod.
Warfactory Modern Core
Every piece of bespoke Warfactory content for the modern line: GregTech integration, custom multiblocks, and the glue holding WarForge, TACZ and WF-Ballistics together.
WF-Ballistics
The "NTM at home". Experimentation ground adding system such as missiles, radar, drones
WF Medical
Limb-based injury, bleeding and tourniquets. Turns casualty evacuation into a real tactical decision instead of a health-bar refill.
Open Persistence
Open-source reimplementation of Max Henkel's abandoned Persistent Players mod, with bug fixes, a cleaner implementation and proper mod compatibility.
CrankShaft
Instanced rendering built to survive the block-entity counts a GregTech mega-base actually produces. Began life as a Flywheel backport and now targets 26.2.
NTM: NEXT
Port of HBM's Nuclear Tech Mod to 26.2, and the long-term successor to the 1.12.2 NTM:CE line. Private to keep issue pipeline in check.
Advanced Hitbox Framework
Shared framework for complex, multi-part entity hitboxes, the groundwork for vehicle and aircraft combat that resolves hits per-component instead of against one box.
Ultimate Weight
Multiversion weight and stamina system with a compatibility processor for third-party items. Written with performance in mind.
SBW Mavic Extender
Makes Superb Warfare UAV range effectively infinite without the usual trade-offs in control fidelity or chunk loading.
Mirage Anticheat
Purpose-built anticheat for heavily modded PVP environments. Kept closed and obfuscated to deter exploitation, the one deliberate exception to our open-source default.
Legacy
9Frozen. Projects that stop at 1.12.2 or 1.20.1 live here, along with work we cancelled. Source stays public. Fork it, learn from it, ship your own.
Warfactory Lite
Trimmed 1.20.1 Forge spinoff built on GTCEu Modern: 97 mods, faster to load, lighter on the server. Built as a proving ground after the 1.12.2 line stalled: it ran for ten days from 3 August 2026 and was a bigger success than Warfactory 1. Superseded by the 1.21.1 flagship.
Warfactory
The first Warfactory, run in 2024 on 1.12.2, with GregTechCEu for high-stakes faction PVP, running on Cleanroom and forge. Primitive next to everything that followed, and a success regardless. It is what justified going further.
Warfactory 2
The intended 1.12.2 successor to the original. It got stuck in development hell and was cancelled. We moved to 1.20 and built Warfactory Lite instead.
Warfactory Core
The original coremod holding all bespoke Warfactory content on 1.12.2. Replaced by Warfactory Modern Core on the current line.
McHeli: Community Edition
Continuation of the popular MCHeli vehicle mod, focused on stability and new airframes. Still receives occasional fixes.
Boxy
Runs Voxy, a Fabric level-of-detail terrain renderer, on Forge without modifying its jar, then extends it server-side. The server streams distant terrain LODs straight to clients, so players see far terrain the server holds even where they have never walked, plus players and mobs rendered well past vanilla's entity range.
WalkOverhaul
Adjusts pure walking and running speed independently of strafing, and adds a stamina system. The 1.12.2 ancestor of Ultimate Weight.
HungerStrike: Extended Support
Fork of HungerStrike that fixes the issues present in the upstream build.
HBM's NTM: CE Space
Port of the NTM Space fork, packaged as an addon for 1.12.2 NTM:CE: rockets, orbital infrastructure and off-world resource chains. Work on it is shelved for now and we do not know whether we will return to it. The source stays public either way.
Deprecated
1Retired on purpose. Do not use these in new packs.
Komodo
Built to work around a rendering bottleneck in Superb Warfare. That issue has since been fixed upstream, so Komodo no longer serves a purpose and should not be added to new packs.
Repurpose & improve.
Nearly everything we ship is open source, legacy included. Fork it, learn from it, ship your own.
